Currently residing in Toronto, Bohdan Kirieiev is a Ukrainian classical singer (lyric baritone), a soloist at the Ukrainian Viennese Balls from 2019 to 2020, and a vocal teacher. He attended the R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music to study classical voice performance. He also competed in and won numerous Ukrainian and international music festivals and competitions, including the 2017 Ukrainian Open Musical Olympiad “The Voice of the Country” (first place).
In 2019–2023, Bohdan also performed as a member of the classical crossover duet with Olena Hrebeniuk, an acclaimed Ukrainian opera singer. In 2022, Bohdan Kirieiev received a national award for writing and recording the Ukrainian National Academy of Medical Sciences’ anthem. Since 2023, he has performed as a soloist in the Canadian opera project “Tango For Two.”
As a seasoned performer, Bohdan helps students to improve their stage presence and performance skills. Although his background is mostly in classical music and opera, he has performed musical theatre and choral music, and can prepare students for RCM exams, singing competitions and auditions
