The Royal Conservatory of Music is a graded system for measuring a student's ability in a variety of styles (baroque, classical, romantic and modern), and offers a certificate for each of the 10 grades. Studying and training for the Royal Conservatory of Music vocal exams can really help you to develop your singing technique and musicianship.

The songs, exercise and studies are designed to help you become an excellent musician. Songs must be well prepared and memorized so it will take several months to prepare for an exam. Many voice students strengthen their sight-reading with piano lessons alongside their vocal training.
